800 STAR has achieved a number of significant milestones in pursuit of its vision, which truly establishes 800 STAR as the pioneer of Assistance solutions for Trinidad and the Caribbean.

 

1999 – 800 STAR pioneered the first branded 24-hour accident and breakdown service (Caribbean Home “Motor Assist”)

2000 – 800 STAR introduced the first “Driver Loyalty Programme” – AutoStar (AutoStar)

2001 – 800 STAR introduced the first branded Domestic Emergency Assistance Service (Caribbean Home “Home Assist”)

2001 – 800 STAR introduced the first 24-hour branded medical emergency and assistance helpline (Guardian Life, Life Care)

2002 – 800 STAR introduced the first Direct Insurance Quotation Service (AutoStar Direct)

2003 – 800 STAR provided the first 24-hour sales / contact support help line service. (Neal & Massy / Nissan Assistance)

2004 – 800 STAR in partnership with Fonemed LLC of America lauches MedStar. The first health information center, for the English-speaking Caribbean

2005 – 800 STAR provides first sales support service for Canadian distributor (Destiny Health and Wellness)
